欧盟化妆品新法规（ec）no1223/2009规定了欧盟境内销售的化妆品必须制定一套产品的资料档案（productinformationfile，pif），并随时供官方当局查询。该资料档案包含产品、生产厂商和责任人的全部信息且须时时更新。在最后一批产品投放市场后由责任人保存10年。

pif报告主要是审核产品资料是否齐全，cpsr报告以及cpsr包含的资料，是pif的核心，因此，要做pif报告，首先得先完成cpsr报告才能做。
