dear esteemed customer,
cosco shipping lines have always been devoted themselves to perform the responsibility of safe transportation of cargo consigned by customers with strict and professional requirements to ensure the safety of crew lives, vessels and cargo properties.
recently, several cases of safety incident in the industry have been noticed, which were caused by improper declaration of dangerous goods. we hereby remind again that the shipper must abide by the consignment obligation, and shall not conceal, fake-declare, mis-declare, or failed-declare the name and classification of dangerous nature of the declared goods. in particular, with regard to lithium battery goods, we hereby reiterate, that no matter how and whether they are classified as dangerous goods or not (according to the imdg code), as long as the goodscontainlithium batteries, the shipper must perform the consignment duty and declare truthfully. if there is any violation of the booking agreement, they will be dealt with in accordance with the prevention and disposal measures for misrepresentation and concealment of dangerous cargos of cosco shipping lines co., ltd.”, and we will also reclaim all losses and expenses from the shipper in return.
