 钢筋网又名钢筋焊接网，是一种在工厂焊接成型的网状钢筋制品，是纵向和横向钢筋分别以一定的间距排列且互成直角，全部交叉点均用强电阻压力熔焊在一起的钢筋网片。
钢筋焊接网被国内外公认为一种新型、高效、优质的钢筋混凝土结构建筑钢材而大量应用在工业与民用房屋的楼板、屋盖、墙体、地坪、混凝土路面、桥面铺装、机场跑道、隧道衬砌、混凝土管、桩等方面。
钢筋混凝土用焊接钢筋网的技术性能和优点：
1、可以大量降低钢筋安装工时，比绑扎网少用工时50％--70％。
2、以较密的钢筋间距，焊接网的纵筋与横筋形成网状结构共同起粘结锚固作用，有利于防止混凝土裂缝的产生与发展，路面、地坪、楼面配置焊接网可减少混凝土表面龟裂75％左右。
3、特别适用于大面积混凝土工程，焊接网的网孔尺寸非常规整，远超于手工绑扎网，网片刚度大，弹性好，浇灌混凝土时钢筋不易局部弯折、变形和产生滑移现象，混凝土保护层厚度易于控制，均匀，明显提高钢筋混凝土工程质量。
4、焊接网具有较好的综合经济效益，焊接网钢筋的设计强度比i级钢筋高50％（光面钢筋焊接网）～70％（带肋钢筋焊接网），考虑一些构造要求后仍可节省钢筋30％左右，在加上直径12mm以下散支钢筋加工费约为材料费的10％～15％。综合考虑（与i级钢筋相比）可降低钢筋工程造价10％左右。
