托福综合口语听力要点：lecture:教授举了两个例子说明什么是tragedy of commons.
1. 其一是fishing.说当然捕的鱼多，挣的钱多。能access to ocean的人自然愿意去多fishing。但是一旦overfishing，大家就都finished out with no fish.
2. 其二是grazing. 说一个属于整个village的草坪，大家都喜欢把自己的动物带来grazing，草吃完了长起来，大家就带更多的动物来，当然草会被吃光了，然后就overgrazing了。托福综合口语范文：the tragedy of the commons is to denote a situation where individuals acting independently and rationally according to each’s self-interest behave contrast to the best interest of the whole group by depleting some common resource.
the professor talked about two examples. for example, if the fishermen, people accessible to the ocean, overfish in order to make more money, soon enough, the fish resource will deplete and all the fishermen will end up with no profits at all. moreover, in the example of grazing, the lawn in the village is able to recover when there are proper number of animals grazing on it. but when the number increases, the grass is not able to restore itself and eventually, the lawn will be barren and no animals can graze on it anymore. 托福综合口语范文：in the conversation, the girl disagrees with the letter’s recommendation that school computer lab should use sign-up sheet to make a reservation to improve efficiency. firstly, it is inconvenient for students to make an appointment before using the computer lab. if some students want to use the computer immediately, the reservation system would bring about a lot of problems. it will definitely lower efficiency. secondly, if the reservation begins, students need to change their places during the time slot. the lab would be very noisy which would affect other students. thus, the girl doesn’t think the letter’s recommendation is a good idea.(102 words)
