脱硫活性炭指的是在汽油精制过程中，利用活性炭负载磺化钛氰钴，对原油中超标硫醇进行脱除，从而减少汽油含硫量，提高品质。符合国家环保排放的要求。
脱硫活性炭是添加十几种促进剂加工而成，具有发达微孔结构的气体催化剂,对气体中的硫化氢及部分有机硫的精脱除。
脱硫活性炭广泛应用于沼气、液化气等各种气源对硫化氢及部分有机硫的精脱除。在使用上具有操作方便、净化度高、床层阻力小、适应性强、脱硫化氢及部分有机硫的速度快、容量高等特点。它是一种新型高效的气体催化剂，能在常温、常压下保持较高的活性与容量。
脱硫活性炭制备方法：
用于粗脱硫的普通活性炭脱硫剂：常以煤为原料,以焦油为胶粘剂挤条成型后经炭化处理,再用水蒸气活化,经筛分后制成。
用于精脱硫的改性活性炭脱硫剂：常选用已成型的活性炭,用活性炭金属盐容液等浸渍后,再经干燥、焙烧和过筛后制得。
脱硫活性炭产品用途：
1、臭气控制；

3、冶炼、纸浆和造纸厂；
4、酸性气体，如：hcl、so；
5、易挥发的有机化合物。
