托福综合口语范文：the reading material about animal.it is said that the animals have habitualpatterns of behavior as habit behavior.in the listening material the professor gives two examples to illustrate such pattern in detail. first example is about a kind of small fish. the male fish can do attack dance to the fish with red marks. the second example is goose. the female goose will move its head back and forth after it lays egg,but when its egg are moved away,it will still do such behavior. these 2 behavior are both cases of habitual patterns. 托福综合口语范文：based on the stimulus discrimination, an animal is able to make judgements about other ones by discriminating their sound，smell and movement. the professor gives an example of the seal, which is capable of identifying a predator through its sound. the application goes like this: the seal’s choice of going or staying relies on the complexity of the sound. it will not stop feeding itself when the sound is not sophisticated, suggesting no aggressive tendency. since it won’t bother to waste its energy. on the contrary, if the sound is complex, it will be stimulated and try to escape from potential eaters as soon as possible.
