容积效率,对液压泵是指其实际流量与理论流量的比值。对液压马达是指其理论流量与实际流量的比值。
机械效率,对液压泵是指其理论转矩与实际输入转矩的比值。对液压马达其实际输出的转矩为理论转矩克服摩擦力后的转矩,因此其机械效率为实际输出转矩与理论转矩的比值。
总效率是指泵(或马达)的输出功率与输入功率的比值。总效率等于容积效率与机械效率的乘积。
