电容器是由两个相互靠近的金属电极板，中间夹一层绝缘介质构
成的。在电容器的两个电极加上电压时，电容器就能储存电能。
1．电容器
(1)电容器：两块相互靠近又彼此绝缘的导体组成电容器．电容器可以储存容纳电荷．　　(2)电容器的带电量：一个极板所带电量的绝对值．
(3)电容器的充、放电：
①充电：使电容器带电的过程称为充电，充电后两板带等量异种电荷．
②放电：使充电后的电容器失去电荷叫放电．
2．电容：
(1)定义：电容器所带的电量与两极板间电势差的比值叫电容．定义式：
(2)物理意义：电容是描述电容器储存电荷本领大小的物理量，在数值上等于把电容器两极板间的电势差增加1v所需充加的电量．
注意：电容c由电容器本身的构造因素决定，与q、u无关．
(3)电容的单位：法．符号f．1 f＝106μf＝1012pf
3．平行板电容器的电容c：与平行板正对面积s、电介质的介电常数ε成正比，与极板间的距离d成反比．
