·theb-100 series lamps are availablein a variety of styles: all pseries lamps come with the specialheat-resistant plasticcool-touchtm housing which allows users tohandle the lamp headregardless of how long the lamp has beenoperating. these ruggedlamps can be placed face down on a workingsurface without damage tothe filter. the non p models are builtwith an aluminum lamphead.
·a 100 watt spot bulb is standard with all models (excepttheb-100sp); the bulb is rated at 5000 hours.
·self-ballasted bulb included with the b-100sp has an averagelifeof 450 to 2000 hours depending on use patterns

this 140wattlongwave, self-ballasted lamp is a highly portable, highintensitylamp for automotive leak detection applications. theballast isbuilt directly into the bulb. the b-100sp features thecool-touchhousing and an 8 ft. (2.44m) cord.

these models feature a yellowfilterwhich blocks wavelengths shorter than 500nm and producesthreestrong mercury lines at 543, 574 and 576nm. the high contrastlightis produced for fine surface particle detection. particlesdown to10 microns are routinely visible with this lamp. b-100y isbuiltwith the aluminum housing; b-100yp with a plastic housing.theselamps are excellent for semiconductor wafer inspection asmostphotoresist absorption occurs below 450nm.
