大部分人都知道，机械表同石英表不同，石英表的机芯是由电池提供动力驱动，如果电池电量耗尽则停止运转。而机械表则是靠手表的机械式运动将动能储存在发条盒内，并再由发条盒释放动能驱动手表运行。因此理论上来说只要是手表一直处于运动状态不静止，手表的指针也将一只转动下去(手动上链表除外)。
所以机械表的构造相较石英表会更加复杂一下，价格也理所当然地更加昂贵。但是复杂的机芯也就造就了它存在走时误差、容易损坏的先天缺陷。
很多表友都曾有过这样的经历，生活中一次不经意的碰撞，竟给手表带来了不可挽回的致命损害，那么机械表是不是真的这么容易坏呢?我来给大家看几张图就明白了!
普通的机械表机芯拆分开来会有将近200~300个细小零部件，其中最多的除了螺丝，就是齿轮，而大部分齿轮的轮齿有多大呢，大概只有头发丝那么大。
