characteristics:petroleum resin is asolid oflight yellow and dark brown with excellenttransparence,solubility, compatibility, water-proof,wearability,weather-fastnes, electrical insulating properties andstabilityagainst acid and alkalis, good adhesive power andthermalconductivity, etc.
application:
1、paints with thesoftening point ranging from 1000c ~1300c avarnish can be made bypetroleum resin with various dryingoil and different coating canbe formed by adding various resin andpigments. it also improveshardness of film, water proofingresistance to acid and alkali andreduces the cost .
2、rubber with the softening point ranging from 800c~1000c petroleum resin is suitable as an additive to naturalandsynthetic rubber making easily the molding operationsandincreasing hardness and elasticity. owing to the hardness,strengthand anti-aging, it is specially used as softening agent ofsbrrubber and for the production of hose, ape and tire, etc.
3、adhesive with the softening point ranging from1000c ~ 1200cpetroleum resin has moderate adhesive property, beingable to beused as compound agent of adhesive tape. in order toimprovewaterproofing of the water soluble adhesive, it also can beused ascompound agent for plywood, wall paper and leather adhesive.owningto solidification shrinking percentage is small, it can beused incasing industry.
 4、 printing ink with the softening pointrangingfrom 1200c ~ 1400c with the characteristics ofwaterproof,wearability and weather fastness, our petroleum resincan be usedfor making ink .
