ci-1016b is silver conductive ink designed to adherewell to indium tin oxide (ito) coated surfaces with excellentstress compatibility, dry quickly to a low and stable resistanceyet with long screen residence time. the main uses ofci-1016b are for ito transparent touchpanels and similar transparent conductive oxidesurface applications. ci-1016b adheres to a wide spectrum of other surfacesincluding print treated and non-print treated polyester andetched-copper flex circuits. ci-1016b is high solids for fine-lineprinting.

applicationinformation
screen printci-1016b with any screen emulsion/mesh combination thatyields a wet film thickness of 0.5-.9 mils.  thewet film will yield a dry film thickness of`~ 0.4-0.5mils.typical screens used are300-420  polyester mesh with a 1.0mil emulsion. complete cure can be confirmedby re-curing the print a second time and testing the electricalresistance.  the electrical resistance should notdecrease by more than 5%. if the resistance does decrease more than5% increase oven temperature or decrease belt speed.ci-1016b can also be cured with infraredenergy.  this method often provides fastercuring.
cure schedule
ci-1016bdoes not require any leveling time and can beforced cured immediately after printing.  typicalforced curing is for less than 40 minutes at 130oc on ito film substrate and 150c on itoglass. various timetemperature combinations can be used.
clean up
ci-1016b can be cleaned up with m.e.k (methyl ethylketone) or a blend of solvents that will completely clean a curedfilm.  screens and printing tools should beallowed to dry completely before reuse.  to avoidpossible squeegee swelling, a solvent resistant material such aspolyurethane should be used.  typically a highdurometer squeegee will provide the best results.
storage andhandling
shelf life is six (6) months,unopened container, stored below 5oc. the product mustbe conditioned back to room temperature before use.
