当电子标签直接贴在金属表面上时,因为金属涡电流的影响,使天线无法利用磁生电的原理驱动晶片并回传讯号,造成无法读取的结果。在贴上rfid铁氧体材料后,磁束经吸波材料的路径形成完整磁场,使标签可以顺利被读取设备读取到。应用在lf(低频)hf(高频)rfid时由于铁氧体的磁导率比一般的抗金属材料高,当抗金属材料厚度一样时,磁导率越高的材料可以通过越多的磁束,使金属的影响越小,进而使得读卡距离越远,所以我们推荐磁导率高的铁氧体材料运用在rfid读卡器及标签上,提高读卡灵敏度,增强读卡距离。
