plasblak® pe 6251 is designed for use in mulchfilm applications and can be used in films  
as thin as  7 micron. it contains  45%of a small particle size carbon black which gives  
both high opacity and excellent weatheringperformance . due to its high opacity ,
plasblak® pe 6251 can be used at lower additionrates than traditionally used  
masterbatches , thus giving the added advantageof minimal influence on mechanical  
properties .
this product is suitable for use in a wide rangeof plastics that come into contact with
food  . for more details regarding the foodcontact compliance in various european

through your usual cabot representative .
method of addition
plasblak® pe 6251 is designed for ease ofdilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore  
suitable for direct addition using automaticdosing units or by pre -blending .
addition rate
the amount of masterbatch added depends on theperformance requirements of the final
application . typical addition rates vary from 5% to  7% masterbatch but can be much higher 
depending on the film thickness and requiredopacity .

packaging
plasblak® pe 6251 is supplied in regular pellet form packed in 25 kg bags. it should be
