in automatic orunattended machining, it is imperative to detect the broken toolwhen it took place. if it's left undetected, a huge loss of costwill be caused from such as scrap parts, machine damage andmachine's downtime. it can be easily installed in the machine at anaffordable cost, and detect the breakage of drill, tap andreamer.the sensor isbracket-mounted close to the tool easily and conveniently. a needleis arranged in different length and, and can be bent so that thesensor would be installed near by the tool flexibly even though thespace around the tool is tight and limited. scu control unit isinstalled in the machine control cabinet.pcs-100: if thetool is present, a needle will contact the tip and return to thestarting position, and the machining goes on. if the tool isbroken, a needle will swing past the tool and interpret thecondition as a broken tool. in this case, the fault signal istransmitted to the machine, and the machining is stopped.
pcs-250: it monitors the angle input by teaching operation, andoutput ok or fault signal.high durabilityunder the use of coolant and severe condition.(ip67)due to thegear-less design, pcs is very strong against the shock andvibration. strong enough against 3 shift operation for its highdurability and rigidity.
