m 3 s量表和m 3 as量表通过高性能防震保护具有超常的使用寿命。通过附加在测量杆和轴套之间的防震机构，使轴套受到的振动不会传导至量表的传动轴。即使是震动条件下使用，也几乎不会对高精准度的的测量有所制约。
m 3 t和m 3 at型具有相同的技术参数，但不防震，它们的结构图与m 2 t量表相同。
