functions:
1.reading trouble codes: when press the read  button, thememo scanner will read dtcs of powertrain system one by one.
2.clearing trouble codes: when press the clear  button, thememo scanner will clear dtcs of powertrain system.
operation:
1.when the check engine light is on, stop the car and apply theparking brake, start the engine then plug the memo scanner to the16-pin socket usually located under the instrument panel in thecar. 
2.it will display the brand name uif twice . then press theread button, it will read the trouble code reader trouble codeand display 3 times. if there is no trouble codes, it will display[-- -- -- --].
3.when press the erase button, it will clear the troublecodes.
4.in case that memo scanner can not be plugged in directly or codescan not be seen due to socket facing downward, use the extensioncable with the female plug to connect with memo scanner and 16pinplug with socket.
